Equestrian Construction

Riding arenas & manèges
AC Agri are specialists in the construction and renovation of all-weather outdoor horse-riding arenas and manèges. We have earned an excellent reputation in the Malmesbury area of Wiltshire where we have installed several bespoke arenas for clients, each tailored to suit the access, lay of the land, ground conditions, the equestrian discipline concerned and the client’s preferences.
There are many things to consider when constructing an arena or ménage, especially drainage, adequate suitable base layers, and a suitable surface that will provide the grip and cushioning required for a sound footing.
We provide arenas and ménages of all sizes on private properties for individual riders, as well as livery yards, riding schools and equestrian centres.
Stabling and steel buildings
Horse owners who need stables, barns and field shelters to accommodate their equine friends, their hay, tack and other requirements need look no further than AC Agri. Our team are knowledgeable about everything that is required to equip an equestrian facility.
We supply and erect high quality pre-fabricated galvanised and coated steel buildings for stabling and storage, which come in various sizes and configurations, bolted onto a professionally installed concrete hard standing.

Stable Yards
AC Agri has an experienced concreting team adept at laying perfectly level well-drained, durable concrete slabs and hard standings as stable bases and to cover stable-yards, making them easy to wash down and sweep.
We use specialised concrete, strengthened with fibres, which is designed to be horse-friendly, resistant to urine and resilient enough not to crack or chip under heavy horse traffic and power-washing.
We also install block paving and gravel areas for easy access to equestrian facilities, as well as tarmac driveways and car parks at riding establishments.
Equestrian Fencing & gates
When you turn your horses out you will need to have the pasture suitably fenced. Horses are notorious for wreaking havoc with fencing and gates, using them as personal scratching posts, cribbing (chewing the rails), leaning on them, and so on.
Our horse-friendly team here at AC Agri know all the tricks, and make sure any fencing we erect around your fields is strong enough to withstand the equine onslaught.
We install all sorts of equestrian fencing, with post and rail being the most common choice because it looks natural in the landscape, works well and is safe.
